Our Story:
Fox Trail Electric was founded in 2022 by Brendan MacKenzie. After serving in the U.S. Army, Brendan attended Orleans Technical Institute to pursue a career as an electrician. He began working in new home construction, where he developed his expertise in troubleshooting and electrical service. Over time, he transitioned into larger commercial projects, serving as a foreman in the D.C. metropolitan area.
After relocating to Upperville, Virginia, Brendan earned his Master Electrical License and launched Fox Trail Electric. His passion lies in solving complex electrical issues and mentoring the next generation of electricians. To uphold the highest standards of training, he established Fox Trail Academy, an in-house apprenticeship program dedicated to developing skilled professionals. When he's not working, Brendan enjoys spending time with his wife and five daughters.
